    I've had NO problems with Westpac this am, nor with my backup broker Commsec.

    Frankly am quite amazed they don't have any kind of a backup plan at all. AT least with Westpac when the site goes down and you can't execute trades you can just call their trading desk and they will execute the trade for you.
