agree. First,an announcement of buyback can give the share price a very good support at the level of the intended buyback prices. Then, the good support will increase the confidence of potential investors and short-term traders , so that they will try to buy BTA at the current low share price.Then the shorters will be forced to close their positons. Then the skaky holders will be more condicent in holding BTA. Then...the positive chain effects go on......
Just look at CQR, it is obvious that share buyback works much better than the normal investors' buying.
