In 2012 in the annual report the CEO advised "a number of new aluminium presses have been recently installed in Australia by smaller participants. This extra capacity is adding downward pressure on the local industry's press utilisation rates".
I seem to recall that one of these competitors was a previous CAA employee and was challenging his former employer but I can't find any details to confirm this. Maybe someone else out there can add to the details.
