    not sure what they are drilling for in perth basin .
    what i mean is they say they are drilling for samples of sediment in area .

    cant understand why they dont simply find out if there is gas or oil there or does that require a second stage of drilling subject to results of rock samples .

    sounds a convoluted process to me .
