I was living in Brisbane at that time and remember it well.

It was sad event, but no gun was used to blame.

To you question,

" So why can Anyone still buy Diesel ??"

Because they need it.

Just like thousands upon thousands get killed in cars from lunatic or careless drivers, but people still drive cars even to a funeral of a friend or relation who died in a car accident.Because they need it.

A lot of bruised chins from knee actions.

A gun is no different from a car. Both can be an asset or a deadly weapon,depending on "intent" of user.
