In a perfect world they would move a few of the Sydney clubs to places like Perth but none of the clubs are willing to budge. Problem with just adding another few teams to the comp. is of course funding and talent pool. Look at the AFL for instance they've had 2-3 clubs whipped consistently by 50+ points each week for the past few years and how much money have they poured into keeping the new boys afloat. I've been to a few GWS games and I really don't know where they get their crowd figues from because each time I've been it looks like 3000-5000 people max.
The NRL cop a lot of flak but good on them for this Nines concept.
