The NRL will tonight crown its best player for season 2014 with the presentation of the Dally M Medal.
North Queensland's Johnathan Thurston has emerged as a firm favourite to claim his third Dally M Medal, but he is also expected to field plenty of competition in the race for the medal.
Canterbury's tireless prop James Graham, Parramatta's sensational full-back Jarryd Hayne, departing Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess and Brisbane half-back Ben Hunt, who has enjoyed a breakout season with the Broncos, are all expected to poll well.
