    Pearce is 28 odd years old and no half or 5/8th acquires a rugby league brain at that stage in their RL career.

    Pearce is just above, a run of the mill halfback. Hes had a dream run in his career so far, for one reason or another. imo.

    He cant and never will be able to guide a RL side around the park. Dont rely on Pearce  winning any games through his influence. imo

    4m for 4yrs and he'll be around 32. That should be the end for him? Is it really four million well spent?

    As it stands imo he will help Newcastle in their rebuilding process atm.

    They need to capitalise on these recent signings or they'll be back to where they were two years ago.

    That player, Ponga from NQ, the fullback,  is probably the real key to how Newcastle goes this year. He is young and has loads and loads of potential. He could be another Slater coming through! imo
    We'll see.
