Interesting article Raiderup, Some sort of rule change must come from this that's for sure. If 3 man tackles cause a liability problem and open the door for legal recourse then perhaps that's the change. My view is that 3 man tackles should stay if they can as it would change the game dramatically. A more effective approach to address this issue is ban lifting period, any lifting. At least that doesn't seriously effect the structure of the game.
