Peter V’landys and the NRL are no strangers to the Court system.
NRL, and it’s Predecessor, the ARL, have been losing Court cases for at least 40 years.
Now the season is going to be cancelled, I think it is time for the game to go from the field to the Courts and bled to its insolvency, people will need to litigate before the game becomes insolvent.
R.I.P. NRL, it may not be missed if not only for its brain injuries, lack of integrity, governance, risk and compliance issues.
Perhaps the film Margin Call needs to have a Rugby League film equivalent like that Russell Crowe flick on Phillip Morris.
