It's an emotional day for Bears fans
Former North Sydney player and current board member Billy Moore told the ABC Sport commentary team that the opportunity for his club to return to the NRL after "26 years in the wilderness" meant a hell of a lot.
Especially in a merger with Western Australia rugby league, who have 75 years of history in the game and were also "wrongfully dismissed" from the league just two years prior to the Bears.
Moore believes the head coach will be Brad Arthur, sources in the West say it is a "done deal".
