What you do outside of work time (IMO even if that is criminal) should have no bearing on your employment unless you're either incarcerated or there's a direct contingency to your job. In this instance there probably is a direct contingency to the job. Kent strays away from on field NRL matters into judgement about off field player behaviour. He now has a 4 minute video of himself online showing he has no credibility when passing judgement. Credibility is a contingent element in his job as an opinion based "journalist." The video will diminish him in the eyes of those who view it, thereby damaging the program on which he's a panellist.
