They should have raised WAY more money when they had the chance and grow the business aggressively. Uber was an unprofitable business until very recently as the focus was never on balancing books but rather taking on the world. in fact within the same period they have managed to be recognised as legal in different states even though they had the whole taxi mob / guild against them.

CL8 has managed to achieve sweet F all - 2 years pretending to be a disruptive business and still turning over what an average cafe by the beach does
