luckily NRZs legal team is making the assessment on whether or not ISG falls under the legal umbrella of CSG and not IW or JL.

I reckon as a law firm proving SME advice (which getting wrong would have tens of millions of dollars in consequence) which a company will act on. would want a little more than a roll of the dice likelihood of getting it right. You would expect an extremely high degree of confidence, if not a certainty that the their advice is correct to proceed.

If I recall from quarterly report 6 months ago that was a decision that cost close to a half a million in legal fees to ascertain, probably more than a cursory glass at the legislation no? yet we’re fools for not taking unqualified opinion… sure.

this is the same tired story as usual, very similar to ISG flow rates naysaying, every involved company with the facts corroborates that ISG target rates and quality Were acheived, but a poster on HC without the data knows the facts, and in this instance knows more then the law firm providing definitive legal advice.
