Good points Ricky,
The management of NEN is excellent and as mentioned they deliver, derisk and are always reviewing the business assets. Add the technical expertise and experience, they are hard to fault and are an excellent management team. Strategically, they are the best I have seen for some time.
My real concern with NEN is as the second largest holder of land and NEN’s continued success rate, I have a strong suspicion that OXY holding the vast majority of land is waiting to pounce on NEN and do a T/O. I have looked at their strategy (OXY) as far as growth is concerned and if the P1 & 2 from Paloma is big then I have the feeling that OXY will be all over NEN and as a consequence NEN will be purchased for a song. It makes good business sense to me that OXY being as big as it and the largest land holder by a significant amount then any competition especially at the current share price of NEN would be an easy target for OXY.
