The 2 are similar in so many ways:
    1) Both are targeting the same basin.
    2) both have the backing of a major.
    3) NSE holds about 8% of BRU....BRU holds about 10% of NSE.
    4) both have reasonable amount of cash.
    5) Both will do very well indeed.
    ....
    They differ in size.
BRU is 4 times bigger than NSE.
It seems that the market favours BRU mainly because the JV with Mitsubishi ( $152m for 50%) is far superior to NSE's with COP ($110m for 75%)...We must not forget that an "extra" 25% in case of success is huge.
Also BRU's "efforts" are more advanced.
    ......
    Technically speaking:
BRU is making record highs (for a good reason)...It is certainly outperforming NSE.
Some might say it is too risky at these levels, but we have often seen stocks that keep marching to astonishing levels.
There is NO resistance whatsoever facing BRU.
NSE on the other hand is about to swing to test the only remaining road block (namely 52c)
    .....
More than likely we will see both rise to much higher levels...but the fact remains that BRU will keep outperforming NSE ,just because of this extra 25% which is not to be sneezed at.
I hold large stakes in both.
