All the major broking houses and assorted scallywags have pathetically low forward prices. It is a conspiracy that they all toe the low gold price line. The intellectual dishonesty has been more noticable in the last few years. The benefit is to those who can see what is happening and think rationally. We can have the Future Fund pretend that gold isn't a great investment to help secure all the unpaid public servant entitlements, and the fund can pretend that they were surprised about how gold has progressed up and so on.
In 2.5 years, NST will be producing 2M ounces of gold, 25% more than now, at a lower cost than today. I'm very happy the company started the expansion/efficiency works a few years ago. You don't need to be a genius to work out where the NST share price is going. Dividends will be going the same way as the share price. Annoying that the price isn't higher today, yes, but as Seneca the Younger wrote, "Time reveals truth."
