You probably not alone in wondering how a chartist sees this very confusing situation.
Still think the downward path the more likely, but having said that anything is possible given the simply incredible scenes in the UN this week, can go back to JFK and the Bay of Pigs to find a similar frightening geo political scenario, someone simply has to back down, and a back down might short erode term support for gold.
USD POG @1297 testing upward resistance point, US trading tonight should provide short term direction indication.
NST testing support @$4.90, next support level 4.42
USD Index offering no directional assistance
ASX gold index today tested its major downside support level of 4395
Will stay sideline watching, .........all the above IMHO.
