MLX doesn't have any tier one assets and these are the only type NST would be interested in, hence the divestment of Plutonic. NST have been talking about 3-4 top tier assets to drive growth for the future, this would require production centres of +250k oz pa @ around A$1,000 AISC.
If NST went after MLX gold assets I'd probably sell, as someone said, why replace crap with crap.
