Where do we look up the gold buying behaviour of (various) central banks?
.... and what is the process by which central banks (or governments, or anyone else) restrain or manipulate the POG?
Maybe it all makes sense if we know the answers to these questions, but it seems easy to say and hard to actually analyse.
