You say you made $800 trading $5.07 to $5.04. That's about 26000 shares at $5+ = $130k invested.

You further say from Dec till now 13 trades. Let's suppose you all up your investment. $61k profits, means you started with $70k.

Mid Dec NST SP was about $2.60. Double that now at $5.20. $70k INVESTED then would give you a profit of over $70k, not $60k, and no tax implications yet.

Yes there's a place for trading, but often times investing is just as good. The smarties here, often have a fixed investing stake, and a trading stake at times to earn some spending money.

BTW, I've seen 18 consecutive blacks at the roulette wheel, and I've participated in 13 consecutive wins at the baccarat table in my gambling days. (Kalgoorlie)
