First line ,,, yes second ...no ...Delta didn't lose too much from alpha third line ... yes
People tend to overstate how weak omicron is , it is marginally weaker than delta but the lower fatality rate more to do with vaccination rates and better treatment . I do concede though that omicron is our pasport to herd immunity .... unless of course the dammed thing mutates into something quitedifferent . This virus has fought hard and I'm sure we won't completely see the back of it soon , maybe not in my lifetime .
But yes , viruses generally weaken over time so gives us hope .
