Sounds a bit silly to me referring to the supposed 20% paydowns of credit as waste. Im sure the recipients would disagree and so would a lot of other people who would deem it to be prudent. To pay down credit provides the person greater flexibility into the future in financial terms terms and of making discerning purchases and may diminish interest payments.
