Its all about shale gas in the USA. Very little wells are fracked in Australia, because of the geology. Totally irrelevant to CSG.

Why would you bother finding out what is happening in the USA? People should be speaking to communities in QLD, where CSG is well established, and hardly makes the news, with negative reports. Unless they have already made up their minds by watching those USA propaganda DVDs, that have caused unnecessary anxiety within communities.

Mr Baird with his record stamp duty coming from a housing bubble in Sydney, can afford to spend some money towards, busting those CSG myths, by putting ads on the radio, telly, and newspapers. Things are getting muddier not clearer, and enough years have been wasted, on debating the pros and cons of CSG. People deserve to be given the facts and not to be taken as fools. Mining and farming have always co existed in Australia, as much as droughts and floods have always been part of the landscape.
