melinvest, honesty I donot think gov. even care about the drilling or mel. they just do not want mel influence their position/election etc. And before election, nothing would happen IMO. And somehow even later the gov. will still consider greens opinion as they have the voting right which could be directed to the gov.'s benefit. Consider you are the PM of NSW, fair enought you do not want to involve (honestly just waste) a single moment on such issues. So it is MEL need to pursue for a talk/negotiation, what is so ever. Maybe back till October and see whether anything happen. At this moment, just nothing could be expected.
