I don't know what other crisis could be evolving aside one that is totally different
this crisis is evolving - right now -
the numbers are almost one and a half months old and are growing
the day when peak is hit - whenever that is ---- is the day when you begin to count forward the same number as days that you have already been on the journey - roughly - that's about the time it will take to say - 'whoosh, thank god for that'
so - Sydney has about 1 and a half months to go - if it magically peaked today
the bad news -- it hasn't - it's still growing - and, at a guess - it well may change gears up - very soon
one thought I had last night was that with Vic about to lessen restrictions - their offer of help with contact tracing staff to NSW might be a very short term offer ------------ if Vic loses it a bit on opening - then, they'll want their staff back in a hell of a hurry
going to be an interesting August at a guess
