I reckon they have to be talking about the price with whoever it is. What else is there to be discussed from our point of view and the discussions are supposedly progressing ..

Don't suppose they sat around, came up with a price which works and then agreed to hold the deal up in anticipation of the Aussie dollar cooling by 5%..

I wish they would hurry up, not wanting to get political, but Abbott is 99% certain to be elected later this year and his little comment to the chinese last year indicates relations could go anywhere if he starts shooting from the hip. The new Chinese leader doesn't sound like a bloke who is going to take too kindly to a preaching wing nut from Oz.
