NSW Delta Covid numbers increasing

Todays numbers have increased to 44 and alarmingly 29 have been out in the community and therefore numbers of cases are expected to further rise. That is the message from the NSW Premier today,

Interestingly it seems they have now backed off any idea of letting the Delta variant run, Gladys has made it clear that because we have so few people vaccinated the spread of Covid cannot be allowed to continue and that zero community transmission cases must be the target.

A total change from the previous noises which were lauded on these threads by the RWNJs who want the Delta variant to be allowed to run. Idiots!

Gladys emphasising the low rate of vaccination has highlighted the big fail of the Morrison govt on vaccinations. A disgrace for which the voters should not imo be forgiving. We were told with much hubris we were at the front of the queue and instead its a fiasco.

If the Delta Covid spreads we could wind up like Indonesia where even children under five years are dying from Covid. Its a frightening prospect and NSW must do all that is necessary to contain the outbreak.
