These floods are the worst probably since the 1950s and the rain hasn't finished yet. I've got family in the Cowra area and they won't be able to get to town for a couple of months probably. The Central West of NSW and the Hunter region are probably the most severely affected. Market gardens along the Lachlan River have been wiped out and that damage will be huge. One of the biggest bills for farmers could be replacing fences which many won't have been able to afford insurance.
