    Woodside, Santos etc. are not going to spend the billions needed to build the "trains" without long term take-off contracts. Our Asian neighbours signed these contracts and have legally binding rights.

    I have never heard of any Australian users willing to commit.

    Some years ago a consortium wanted to build a gas pipeline from PNG. I assume this would have been nat gas not CSG but it floundered on the reef of apathy. I assume our users expect gov. regulation to enforce supply. It hasn't happened yet with governments of both colours.
