I know I have posted this a few times on HC, but the above quote from Dex is a snapshot on how our country is managed, and frankly , just WHO now runs the country and decides policy.
IT IS THE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AND THE MEDIA WITH THIER OWN AGENDA.
Just recall the live cattle export trade to Indonesia fiasco.
it was exactly the same PROCESS as has happened with NSW CSG.
It is so representative of what is happening in NSW CSG.
Vocal special interest group. well organised. Spreading misinformation and lies. A sycophantic media with hand held support and agenda as the minority interest group. Intimidation of any opposition then - a scared, intimidated political minister & govt, only looking after their political interests.
So who loses?? WE DO.
Fair dinkum - just look at the Scoreboard for cattle trade to Indonesia. Cattle - lost- because they are still being killed in the same abbotoirs in Indonesia in that same way! Cattle farmers - lost because the Indonesians cancelled huge orders of live cattle exports, they sourced cattle from Aust competitiors. Australia - lost because the Indonesians have now purchased large cattle propoertirs in NT and are breeding Aust cattle to send back to Indonesia. Indonesians - lost because the dxxxhead Aust govt cancelled the export of their FOOD to Indonesia, right at the end of Rammadan. Just plain freakin' dumb. Aust Public - because we were fed lies, again, from the ABC and PETA mob.
So look at that list, and consider just how similar that process is re CSG.
