" NSW households will likely have to pay up to $225 extra each year for gas fron July 1, driven by the sale of gas overseas from Queensland. The price hikes were recommended by the state pricing regulator IPART on Wednesday and are lower than those sought by AGL Energy and Origin Energy, but represent a hefty annual increase of 17.6%, the third straight year of price rises".

Not great news for NSW households, hopefully great news for shareholders of companies such as AJQ.
NSW govt also still dragging its feet on CSG within NSW, so no real additional local supply in NSW expected to come on line in the short term.
