NSW government just shafted border communities

As of tonight and against the advice of the mayors of Albury and Wodonga, the NSW government just sacked thousands of people working in the Albury - WOdonga urban area and destroyed scores of small businesses still battling to survive COVID-19.

NSW has virtually banned all movement within Albury-Wodonga even though there is NO active COVID-19 case here

Along the entire length of the Murray River there is only one case in the huge East Gippsland Region and one case in the entire Swanhill Region.

And that's how it's been for the last six months!.

Yet that hasn't stopped the NSW government from shafting thousands of workers, businesses on communities along the Murray, begging the question as to what on Earth are they doing?
