I am not sure either. Could that be the reporter got it wrong? I think there is some conflicting point there. Because I can't see how could you placed 2km buffer zone around those house and yet that won't affect the preapproval licenses.

But DTE's management have said they won't drill those pilots hole in NSW till more certainties were obtained from the NSW's government. I am started to wonder if they meant as to where are these buffer zones exactly?

Any thoughts?
