The fatality rates accross the world nowadays is under 1%.
just go and have a look at the data for 2021.
forget 2020. Thats old news.

2020 stats were skewed because they were not testing many people who had the virus.
Australian stats show around 0.4% fatality rate these days. Certainly for 2021.
Either the virus is not as deadly now
They are using treatment that they didnt have before
or the data early on wasnt reliable.
But yes
around 0.4% fatality rate here , and nearly all countries under 1% for this year.
