@gearset; my concern is for the people of NSW and in particular those at risk of becoming infected and those struggling to cope with the lockdown.

Berejiklian's focus for weeks now has been on vaccinations rather than the welfare of people and their livelihoods - IMO often coming across as a political strategy aimed at saving face.

NSW's mixed messaging and the confusion created was predictable - playing 'Whac-A-Mole' instead of just locking all of greater Sydney down hard and fast has proven a monumental disaster.

    Where to from here:
    1. Reset - pull it altogether and make it simple
    2. Two weeks of curfew, 5 kms mobility limit and that to apply to almost everyone - circuit breaker!
    3. Use the two weeks to scientifically determine which restrictions to progressively ease across the entire state as ONE entity, Then explain and do it!
    4. Cut out the babble, the waffle and the spin - NSW desperately needs someone like Victoria's Jeroen Weimar who just spits out data and facts and who is brutally frank with people about what's known and what's not known.
    5. Once recovery is underway trust the professionals such as police, school and health leaders - they know their communities, they know who's at risk and how to support them. Don't set them up to fail by constantly changing the rules and drowning them in mixed messages.
    6. Deliver on what's been promised - the financial support for people, for businesses and for communities.

With best wishes to all those in NSW - we haven't forgotten you!
