I hated Joh Bejelke Peterson with a passion but he ran the state budget on a shoe-string compared with the bloated ones we have now.
I just can't understand how they can spend the "sin" taxes, stamp duties on the bloated house taxes and GST without being able to fund health and education. It's got me stuffed.
