    I suspect terrorism will eventually move to mass hacking.
    Imagine is just one line of code was altered. Change all train speeds to a permanent 200km per hour once the clock ticks 8am. You would see trains flying everywhere and if it was hacked from a remote device without a clear signature (almost any laptop) then it would be incredibly hard to find the culprit.

    When NSW and QLD transport authorities can't even order new trains without massive stuff ups, who could trust them to maintain perfect IT security?

    At the very least, there needs to be staff on board (could routinely check tickets) that use a manual for key to enter a room with a manual break.
