also for the manner in which the campaigns have been managed without any of the usual mudslinging and filthy attacks that have been frequent in federal campaigns.
Lib supporters, respect for the leadership of 4 successive premiers. O'Farrell was a could've been but he started in the same vein as Perrottet has finished, with. a fair appreciation of his competition. Baird was a different person and a different style and I can't say I'm sorry he resigned to follow a different path, but Gladys (our Glad) did a fantastic job imo.... I believe she could have gone on as a top leader of NSW politics.
all have presented moderate policies, albeit the standout privatisations but I respect the decisions made have yielded benefits, and in a moderate manner with willingness to use pragmatic negotiation over ideological "enemy of perfect" attitude which steamrolls or ignores opinions that aren't their own.
the Fed Liberal Party really needs to introspect for the lessons to be learned in their manner and ideals. sometimes ideals are the destruction of the good.
no-one is ever right all the time, and this is an important thing for all leaders to remember. this its why its so important to listen to those who oppose ones own beliefs.
congratulations to Liberal Party - respect to Perrottet and good luck to supporters. I hope members of the party will bring these points to Dutton's attention and remind him you catch more bees with honey.
