Ten years ago my Father said " have a look at TCl " so I did , but the dividend was lousy , the debt was a worry and it was around the $12 range. .( nothing changed went you take inflation into consideration)
The price one has to pay to use these Toll roads is not cheap as it cost me 5c on my motorbike back in the early eighties to travel both ways on the Harbour Bridge ,so to see the returns that Transurban Shareholders have achieved over the last decade, as the Tolls kept increasing over this time ( as Management have been handsomely rewarded ) wouldn't past any Pub test ( a bit like the achievement's of AMP over the last decade) .Now , Charlton has moved on to be replaced by Jablko.,so IMHO I don't see any upside .The dividend should be double what it is and capital growth of the TCL pushing the $20's a share mark .
