Wife and I have lived in Brisbane our entire lives.
Gave up our toll beeper years ago. Both me and the wife. And we live about 300m from a tunnel entrance on the north side.
Wife used to work at Murarrie. Could have taken the tunnel under Lutwyche Rd and exit on Lytton Rd. For the times she was travelling, simply no discernible benefit.
Same with her new workplace at Carole Park. Can do the 35km in around 32 minutes (in both directions) without using the Legacy Way tunnel. Just Milton / Western Freeway. Easy Peezy and no charge.
Absolute peak times, probably a different story. Otherwise, you’re just wasting your money in my view.
PS. Wishing TCL all the best, as I’m an indirect holder through numerous LICs.
