Like Transurban, QBE is mighty lucky the Albo Governemnt regulators do not have a clue how to regulate it. Unlike Transurban, there is an IAG example, and if IAG a happens to them, QBE will really struggle to continue with dividends, will probably reach 5 year lows and that is why the QBE dividend is extremely low.
Like Transurban, the viability of the dividends are questionable and probably either at the end or soon to be stopping altogether.
It is a grim prospect. TCL will be lucky to stay at its 5 year lows IMHO.
Transurban could go back to $2.50 last seen in February 2000.
TCL will have travelled nowhere in 23 years.
