New article in the ABC News today (3/10):

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-10-03/nsw-says-95-per-cent-of-dwellings-excluded-from-csg-mining/4995100

'The New South Wales Government says more than 90 per cent of dwellings in the state will be excluded from any new coal seam gas activity.'
'Mr Hazzard is anticipating objections and says there is scope for further tweaking of the boundaries.'

    Interestingly, it mentioned:

'The buffer will not apply to exploration or production licences that have already been approved.'

    The Australian also mentioned:

'However, under the new legislation, CSG companies will be permitted to drill on Upper Hunter horse or viticulture properties that they have owned since September last year, when the government first announced the strategic land use plan for the Upper Hunter.'

Not sure how this will affect DTE(since they held their licence from before all these rules are in place). Anyone have any input on this?

And Macfarlane will surely have something to say about this ..
