It would only be between unitholders and a very limited third party market due to legals issues of public offers.
It would force manager to be a lot more open and accountable IMO as purchasers would want full disclosure rather than the limited information provided to date.
For example proposed buy back is going to come rapidly up on trust. the ability to meet this or not has a material impact on trust and price prepared to be paid by a buyer.
It would reduce costs and given how few buyers there are I dont think it could get worse.
