It appears that a number of posts have recently passed through the Event Horizon and into a Black Hole , without any explanation whatsoever, based on a widely distributed freely available public newspaper .
Extremely important issues were raised in these posts which will ultimately affect investors lives. HC moderators are no doubt fully aware that articles in this particular newspaper quoted below are carefully legally scrutinized for defamation before publication . "A class action brought by more than 2000 small unit holders against auditing and accounting giant KPMG has been settled out of court for at least $20 million", and "Although the amount of the settlement was not released, a source close to the negotiations said it was at least $20m. Bentham IMF could earn up to about one-third of the $20m fee. However, the settlement deed is still to be put in place"
Firstly , It would appear in my humble opinion to be a reasonable expectation that investors would want to know why only 2000 unit holders are claimed to be represented when there were approximately 10, 000 investors in the PIF . Secondly an objective extrapolation of 20 million less fees of 30% for IMF excluding, solicitors and other expenditures , from a fund that was worth in the vicinity of 700 to 900 million dollars, and has lost approximately 90% of its value will actually give these long suffering investors negligible financial relief .. That is the sad reality of this tragic situation.. .
