Thanks Tradie, you are right of course - I should have read all announcements more carefully - what I did read was the Form 604 of 29 August which stated that the change of interest occurred on 29 August and thus concluded that the placement shares were ineligible for a rights issue with a record date of 26 August!
It also seems pretty clever for ISXFEU to jump to a 25.666 % holding without triggering a takeover.
