I don't think that Landbridge would have done any better with the assets either - if they had taken out AJQ. Their Westside Corp Meridian Project only produces 37TJ after several 100's of wells drilled and they have onshore and offshore acreage to contend with in NZ (and accordIng to the Fin Review in July 17 - Labdbridge were strugling with debts)
AEP was stIll the best opportunIty for the sharholders and the rIght decIsIon at the tIme - it Is just a pity that it worked out how It did.
I thInk the NT wIll stIll come good for Armour once there is some polIcy certainty up there. It does not matter where the Investors come from, as long as it is a farm-in and not a takeover I'd be happy.
