    There are two words for the NT land rush:

    Irrational Exuberance.

    Around the industry there is a rule of thumb that when statoil gets into something it's time to get out because the bubble is about to burst.

    In other news, there are still large parts of the officer basin (WA) not leased up. Anyone care for a crack?! Before you do, have a look at Rodina (admittedly they were chasing conventional)... have a good long look at their share price history. There is a time to get in and most definitely a time to get our: before the donkeys wake up.

    The key question to ask before you shell out your hard earned is: where in Australia is shale oil or gas turning a profit right now?
