Not sure what to make of this...
The pessimist in me knows that Shell would most likely have had to make a submission to NOPTA as to its planned path forward. I fear that Tassie Shoals possibly didn't get nominated as the preferred option forward as Shell wouldn't have been privy to all the details relating to TS - how could they when MEO recently stated that they were only just now preparing for introductory meetings with the ES Partners.
The optimist in me hopes that Shell nominated TS as the path to commercialization, hence NOPTA twice deferring back to MEO seeking further clarification as to TS details to further validate this as a viable option before granting retention.
Thoughts please.
