It does not quite work like that.
Lets suppose an asset is worth $100 and has $90 of secuured debt on it. That gives you an NTA position of $10. It only takes a reduction of 10% to wipe out the entirety of the equity.
If you apply the same sort of thing to the overall AFG book you will see that there is no guarantee that AFGHA will be worth anything.
